Meta Platform Data Deletion Instructions. This page satisfies the data-deletion requirements for applications using Meta Platforms APIs, including Facebook Login, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messaging, and the WhatsApp Business Platform.

1. Overview

AmeritAI (operated by Norshin LLC) respects your right to have your data deleted. This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we process through our service, including data obtained via the Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp messaging integrations.

2. Who Controls Your Data

If your conversation was with a business using AmeritAI, that business is the data controller and AmeritAI acts as its processor. Where applicable, we will coordinate with that business to fulfil your deletion request.

3. Data Collected via Meta (Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp)

When you send a message to a business's AmeritAI-powered account through Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, or WhatsApp, we process the following to respond to your request: your platform-scoped user id (PSID / IGSID or WhatsApp number), the content of the messages you send, and the conversation history. This data is used solely to provide automated customer support on behalf of that business.

4. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data:

• Email: send a message to privacy@ameritai.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
• Include the name of the business you messaged and the platform you used (Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp), along with your account username/number, so we can locate your records accurately.

Alternatively, you may reply "delete my data" in the conversation with the business, and the request will be routed to us.

5. Identity Verification

To protect your privacy, we may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.

6. Processing Time and Confirmation

We fulfil verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to the exceptions below. Once your request has been completed, we will send confirmation to the email used in your request, where technically possible.

7. Exceptions

Certain information may be retained where required by law or for fraud prevention, security, accounting, or other legitimate legal obligations. We delete or anonymize such data once those obligations no longer apply.

8. Disconnecting an Integration

When a business removes a Meta integration from its AmeritAI dashboard, the stored access tokens are deleted immediately, and conversation data associated with the disconnected integration is removed or anonymized in line with our retention policies and applicable legal obligations.
